The Global Green Development and Healthy Lifestyle Summit, co-organised by the UNESCO International Centre for Higher Education Innovation (UNESCO-ICHEI) and the International Leading Education Alliance (ILEA), aims to integrate resources in education and healthy lifestyle and establish a high-level and comprehensive global facing platform.
Bringing together university representatives, experts from research institutions, and industry leaders from around the world, the forum focused on the core themes of “Green Development, Healthy Living, and Educational Innovation” and explored the critical role of education in achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The forum will be held regularly, with in-depth exchanges focusing on digital education, healthy lifestyle education, green economic transformation, ESG and social responsibility, and youth empowerment among other cutting-edge topics. Through keynote speeches, roundtable discussions, and cooperation signing ceremonies, the forum aims to promote systematic collaboration among education, research and industry, and to facilitate the sharing of educational resources and the dissemination of healthy lifestyle concepts internationally.
As one of UNESCO’s key initiatives to advance sustainable education, the forum is dedicated to transforming educational outcomes into drivers of social productivity. It encourages countries to adopt development models oriented toward health and well-being, fostering harmonious coexistence between humanity and the environment.
Moving forward, the Global Green Development and Healthy Lifestyle Summit will continue to expand its international influence, attracting participation from more countries and organisations. Together, it will foster an open and collaborative educational ecosystem, promoting the global adoption and implementation of education in green development and healthy lifestyle principles.

The HLCC Healthy Lifestyle Coach Certification Framework is ILEA’s flagship programme, jointly initiated by IIOE and ILEA in collaboration with renowned universities and professional associations worldwide. Focusing on five core domains—cognition, emotional management, sleep, exercise, and new nutrition—it establishes the first standardised framework that integrates healthy lifestyle education with international certification, ESG principles, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The first phase of the HLCC courses focuses on collaboration with international large-scale institutions and industries. During the first three years, enrollment is not open to individuals; instead, it targets enterprises and organisations, including:
◉ Global insurance groups
◉ Large multinational corporations
◉ Education, medical, and health-related institutions.
Through the structured Healthy Lifestyle Coach Certification (HLCC) Framework, helping enterprises understand:
◉ Why health education offers the highest return on investment in human capital
◉How health training can reduce absenteeism, improve team performance, and enhance the social value of corporations
◉ How to guide the public in adopting scientifically backed diet and lifestyle habits
This initiative aligns with international trends in health education and resonates with policy directions in countries such as Malaysia, South Korea, and China that are paying close attention to Singapore’s food grading system.
